Business Term Deposit - Important Information

Please note that we can only accept applications for Judo Bank’s Business Term Deposit from:

  • private Companies (i.e. Pty Ltd companies) with up to nine directors;
  • trusts with a maximum of six individual trustee(s); and
  • registered incorporated associations.

The business will need to be able to:

  • provide the business’ ABN and any other required business identifiers (you cannot proceed without the required identifier);
  • confirm the entity is an Australian tax resident with an Australia business address;
  • show that all company shareholders are individuals not companies; and
  • confirm that trustee(s) are individuals.

For each individual trustee, Authorised Representative, Intermediary and/or Related Person, they must be:

  • over 18 years of age.
  • an Australian resident for tax purposes.
  • living at an Australian residential address.

To speed up the application process, please make sure you have all your information handy before you start, as you’ll need the following to be able to apply:

  • A minimum of two identification documents (for each individual or Related Person) – you can use your Australian Driver’s Licence, Passport and/or Medicare Card for identification purposes;
  • A mobile number and email address for verification and correspondence purposes (each individual or Related Person will require their own unique email address and mobile phone number).
  • An Australian Bank Account with another financial institution, which needs to be in the name of the entity.
